Wanted: Men With Beards, Gray Hair
We need men with beards and gray hair! Why? Because scores of Egyptian boys will want to sit down and listen to "seasoned" men talk about being a man of God, walking with Christ, and how to lead a Christian family.
"A man with gray hair and/or a beard is much more respected in this culture," says Thomas (real name withheld), our 360Go ministry partner in Egypt. "Other adult men are respected and valued, but the words of a seasoned man who has experienced more life and has more wisdom will carry much more value."
Next year, July 18028, 2026, a 360Go team of men from the U.S. will travel to Cairo, Egypt, to assist ministry partners there in hosting a one-week boys' summer camp. The team will consist of men from all over the U.S.
Will you consider joining the team?
"To host a summer boys' camp will take a lot of work, and we need men with energy, who love to play, and who love Jesus' mission to come and be part of this team," says Dan Kersten, team leader and 360Go director. "If you can organize games, entertain kids, or serve food we need you. If you want to share your God-story, answer questions about Jesus, and teach about being a man of God we need you."
The Egypt team size is capped at 12 men. All men must attend an Assemblies of God church, be a legal adult, and be able to raise travel fees of $1,300 plus their airfare to and from Cairo. All registrations are made online. Each team member will be processed according to Assemblies of God World Missions' MAPS application and legal guidelines.
360Go is a missions initiative of the National Men's Ministries and responds to requests from foreign fields for teams of men from the U.S. to come serve in ministry on short-term trips. To learn more about 360GO or to see what trips are open for 2026, visit the web page or email Dan Kersten.
